I have to ask...is that CADPAT printed velcro on the bicep pockets or simply a plate covering a solid velcro field like the Brits use on the new pattern MTPs?
I remember the prototype photos and sketches that showed up on Soldier Systems way back when indicated an ACU-style bicep pocket covered with velcro. Edit--looks like a plate: http://kitbomb.ca/improved-combat-un...uction-begins/ Last edited by bakercompany; April 10th, 2013 at 23:01.. |

While we're on this topic, anyone know a good place to get OD CF pants (Not the extreme weather, just the regular combats) in a variety of sizes?
Other things I'd appreciate help with would be nuke bags, bush caps and field jackets with liners if you know where to get them.

Oh I know those. Folks I know used to "get" them and then turn them into sunglasses.

Sweet pics of the new cadpat combat uniform.
I wonder if anyone noticed the irony of the acronym for the new uniforms.... According to the pics on one of the blogs noted, they are now called ICU (improved combat uniforms). I.C.U. it is ironic because the whole idea of the cadpat pattern is to decrease the chances of anyone seeing you.... Get it? ICU ? Just like when I worked in C.S.C. (federal corrections). One poor bastard was in charge of testing the inmates urine for ingested or consumed drugs. Piss testing ... His title was "Institutional Co-ordinator for the Urinalysis Program .... Who see's where this is going??? His acronym was " I. C. U. P. ".... Bwahahahahaha. Anyway. Again, thanks for the pics of the improved Cadpat's. They look awesome. |
