>>Solved<<Polarstar fusion engine, zero air...

Solved, turns out it was a battery problem. My wasn't holding charge, swap to a 9v battery now it runs perfectly.

Hello,

I got a polarstar v2 gearbox a little while back, never had a chance to hook it up till last night.

After I got it all assembled, tank freshly filled, hooked up battery, and fire. The gearbox nozzle move really fast and smooth, but when I put my finger infront of it to fill the air, there were no air blowing out the nozzle... I don't even know where to start trouble shooting!...

Anyone have any idea as to what's going on?

I don't think the rig is the problem. The rig worked fine with my tapped pistol.

Here's a video that may help.

Any other ideas?

Ok check the lines from the unit to the solenoid in teh unit itself, make sure there are no crimps if there are no crimps you need to send it back to get a warranty repair you might have two issue one is a bad solenoid, two is a bad board. Both parts are dirt cheap to replace from Amped airsoft

Did you adjust your psi on your air rig? Minimum operating is 80-120psi max, video to blurry to see your gauge.

Yes, the gauge is set at 100PSI.

As you can see if the video, the nozzle is nearly touching the BB but still no air being blown out. ugh.

Solved, turns out both my battery wasn't holding charge (5.3v-ish vs 9.6v). Swap the connecter and went with a 9v battery. Work like a charm... Odd as to why it need electricity to operate even though it uses hpa....

It needs power to operate the solenoid that controls how much air goes through

fyi, I think you can use something silly like this:

if you get sick of 9v's.

A firend of mine experienced something like that too... the gun was shooting full auto in semi mode... At first, he thought that the board was toasted, but he tried to change the battery... and that solved his problem as well...
