Whats up guys. "Noob" here.. Just have a quick question regarding age verification because i don't know about it..
I will be buying my first gun soon from torontoairsoft.com..Its looking like its gonna be the King Arms Colt M4a1..Now if i go ahead and purchase this online..Will they take my money..then call me saying we cannot process your order because you are not age verified? I am a 24 years old.Can i not just give them my driver's license number or something online proving my age??

Any info will be greatly appreciated

Age Verification is only for ASC. It has no bearing outside of these forums. Period. Vendors may request proof of age or require proper ID be shown for proof of age when the item is delivered. Some may ask you to PM them here and if you're A/V'd, you'll have a tag under your name verifying that.

Being A/V'd opens door here to the A/V discussion area and the Guns & Parts Classifieds.

it's the seller's responsibility to check if the buyer is legally allowed to buy the gun or not depending on location. (applies to businesses and private sellers as far as I know) ASC's AV is more of a way to ensure that you are of age, since most games seem to be 18+, having a way to ensure that you get 18+ signups is pretty important. In the days of yore, it was the only way to find guns.


The classifieds here do have some reasonable deals, but resourceful people can find the multitude of brick and mortar stores to buy gns from these days.
