Can I use this oil on my GBB m9?

New to airsoft, there's not many airsoft places close to me so I picked this up from the hobby store across the street, is it something I can use to oil my gun? The dude said a lot of people buy that for their airsoft guns, but i just wanna be sure.

Yes but grease for metal on metal/metal on plastic moving parts is better.

If you use the shock oil, use one drop then spread it around with your finger or use a couple drops on a q-tip.

Lighter weight silicone oil should be used in your mags to lubricate your gbb's internals. I have used heavier shock oil in mags but use it sparingly as it will gum up fast.

So the oil I have there will be alright for the mags and stuff??

Is it fluid, or oil? If it's fluid, it'll work well for cleaning your gun, but not lubrication. If it's oil you can use it on actuating parts. Use a high grade grease on your piston though (not too much, clean the excess after it's worked in).

Don't run grease through your mags, run a light oil, or spray. Grease in your actuating parts works, but you'll need to clean your gun more often. Using oil means more applications to stay lubricated. Only lubricate your magazines every so often, as they'll spray into the rest of your gun, and you'll need to clean it more.

RC shock oil is 100% pure silicone oil. I've been using the exact same Team Associated stuff since 09 in my KSC Glock with no problems. (Note the lowest that my local hobby shop sold was 20 wt., I will get some 10 wt. when I get a chance to go to a bigger hobby shop).

Note, slide rails should be greased with something like White Lithium since it's parts that are moving against each other creating friction and you want to reduce wear there, the RC oil should be used on rubber seals in your mag and such.

In my experience lithium grease is not good. At least not in pistols. It does protect parts well, but I find it too sticky. It makes the action sluggish.

Linds, I think Illusion was experimenting with putting a thin layer of White Lithium on the rails mixed with graphite powder. I'm not sure what became of that but from what I understand the lithium "sticks" well while being thin while the graphite powder acts like lubrication (graphite powder is used for gear lubrication in mining machinery).

I use 50wt shock oil on certain parts of my gbbr and gbb.
