Hop-Up Pressure plate help!

I recently purchased a Modify Accurate M4/M16 Hop-up unit.
In the package it came with 2 different styles of pressure plates.

The difference is highlighted in the red circle in the photo above.

Upon first impression I thought the concave pressure plate would be used with a bucking and the nub on the second pressure plate would act as a hop-up bucking would and apply pressure to the sleeve itself.

I also bought a Shredder Concave Spacer if that makes a difference in which pressure plate I install into the hop-up chamber please let me know.

Any help is appreciated, If you have any experience with these items specifically please share your knowledge.

The hopup arm with the extra material is supposed to serve as a nub if you don't have one or don't want to use one. If you have the SCS, use the hopup without the extra material. It wraps around your SCS a bit and ensures it lands in the right place.
