got a gbbr on a trade. a real pile.
full disassemble ...this fell out.

is this some kind of a gasket that was made?
or maybe rtv glue?
cant tell. is it supposed to be there? :?
its real chewed up, very thin.

gun was very very dirty

i cant seem to find a detailed gbbr disassemble video anywhere. only the one in a sticky, not much detail though

What is this, a picture for ants?

EDIT: Larger picture please.
EDIT: Where in the barrel assembly did it come out. What brand of GBBR are you working on... etc.

It looks to me like some sort of lock washer to keep whatever fastener from vibrating itself loose. Thats just my guess I'm not familiar with GBBR's and the pic is somewhat unclear.

Is it metal, rubber, plastic? Try getting a closer clearer shot of it.

gotta love how people who know nothing of a paticular gun, can't help but offer their guess.

it's the rubber buffer off of a G&P (WA clone) WOC. on the original WA M4, the buffer (or bumper) was placed inside the upper where the gas tube passes through. it's there to absorb some of the impact off the bolt face as the carrier group slams forward into battery. since it looks fairly destroyed, i would recommend you get a new replacement.
