Pietro Beretta Gardone VT Cal 9 Parabellum
I have this gun, looks like an airsoft. No idea how to use it.
It's got a thing under the clip kind of like a butane refilling thing but I'm not sure what to refill the clip with? and what kind of bullets does it use? Sorry, I really have no clue about guns in general but it would be cool to get it working. Pictures attached, Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

I've started to do more and more research and it seems like using regular 6mm plastic BB's are fine, and to fill it with ''green gas'', which turns out to be just regular propane. so if i fill the the M93R clip with propane i should be able to get a relatively decent airsoft gun out of this?

First get this propane adapter: http://www.airsoftgear.ca/store/inde...roducts_id=400
That will allow you to charge your mag with propane. Second depending on what you're using the pistol for get different weights of BB's. If you just want to plink pop cans .20g is fine but if you want a bit more accuracy go .25g, if you want to shoot paper targets then I'd get at minimum .28g BB's but no heavier than .36g since I find they don't penetrate paper or cardboard if they're too heavy even though they have less speed and momentum is retained better. http://airsoftgear.ca/store/index.ph...roducts_id=648 EDIT: Also, where did you get that? It looks like a "UK spec" airsoft pistol.... judging by the VCRA compliant coloured slide.

One of my dad's friends gave it to me randomly when I was looking at which airsoft gun to buy so I could save my money. I got it maybe 3-4 years ago and couldn't figure it out then but thought I'd try it again.
thanks for the info! I bought a bucket of 10,000 BB's and these are just .12g, again bought it 3-4 years ago when i didn't do any research at all. |

Also, TRASH THOSE .12g BB's!!!!!1111!!11!111!!!!11!!
DO NOT USE THEM. Chances are they have seams on them and will scratch up your inner barrel or tear your pistols hop up bucking (after prolonged use). Get a bag of high quality BB's, it doesn't matter if they're BBBastard, Metal Tech, Airsoft Elite, Excel, Madbull, etc. just don't use Wally World or CT BB's.

Are you from England? The reason I ask is the orange slide.

Also, to avoid future problems the 'clip' you are refeering to is called a Magazine or 'Mag' for short. And to run straight propane you will want to add a few drop of silicone oil to your propane tank every 10 mag refils. You get silicone oil for free with any AI propane adaptor. BTW nice gun.

I'm Canadian living in BC.
Thanks for all the help guys, looks like I'll have to invest in some new BB's and an adapter. I'll update if I ever get it up and running! |

If you can get a clearer pic of the bottom of the magplate and the internals (take the slide off) I might be able to tell you what brand the gun is as well.
If it is "UK spec", chances are it's not a Tokyo Marui and I'm saying this based on what I've seen of players in the UK use while I was in the UK. The players I played with (arguably a younger bunch so not much money) tended to favour KJ Works (Alright brand and gas system is TM compatible) and WE for some reason or other.
