kwc 1911 meu gbb,spring issues/spring size

I have 2 1911`s that have the same problem. When you fire the gun, the slide wont fully recoil all the time, its inconsistent. Also, when firing, the mag sometimes releases all the bb`s, or all the gas at once. The mag itself shouldn`t be the problem as I bought 2 new mags and the problem persists.

suggestions would be appreciated.Quinman

Did you make a lubrification lately? If not, this could be your problem, make sure that it is lubed properly and try it out

just got the gas adapter kit yesterday, lubed the mags last night and tried it out today and still had the problem. It seems the slide isnt always getting the power of the recoil,to re-cock for the next shot.not sure how to fix that either, recoil spring adjustment?

and thanks for the response.

Don't "bump" your own doctor threads. If no one has an answer, no one has an answer.

That seems like a pretty cheap gun, you might be better off tossing it and getting something that can be fixed/has replacement parts like a TM or KJW 1911.

people don't seem to scroll down very far to look at old threads, thus the bump.

as for the rest, you don't know if you don't try.

is it possible that the recoil spring is the problem, not enough tension ??

it has been suggested to replace the recoil and hammer spring,as this may be the problem.but I don't know the power of the spring I have,so how do I tell?so I don't but the same one and waste money??
