Magazines!?!?!?

Hey guys,

I'm brand new to the whole airsoft thing, just picked myself up an ICS 127 full metal M4... The weapon system came with 2 hi-cap mags, although I am looking for either mid cap or real cap (metal/plastic doesnt matter) I have been scanning through the classifieds in search of some to no avail. Can anyone point me in the right direction, where I can purchase some new ones?

Thanks,

SCANZ

Be careful though, Tm compatible mags don't always feed well in ICS rifles. I had to shim the magwell to have my king arms mags feed properly.

From what I understand ICS guns have proprietary mags. I have an ICS Sig 551 and I had to file my TM mags a bit so they would fit in the mag well (once filed they work fine). You may want to ask someone else with this gun what mags they use and have had success with if you can't find ICS brand mags for it.

Change your thread title to "Magazines for ICS M4" It will get you more direct responses for the better mags for that particular gun.

3 years ago I used MAG brand Midcaps in my ICS no problem, I still use these mags today and I love them.

I have and ICS M4 Concept and every kind of mag I've tried works pretty good(dboys, star, g&g and magpul pts) but the magpul pts mags fit and feed the best out of all that I've used so far! The other ones are kind of a bit loose and I have had a few but not many misfeeds, I don't know if it's different with the metal bodies as I have the cansoft version!

He's talking about an M4, that's irrelevant.

All AR's are essentially mag-compatible.

I use plastic MAG brand 120rd midcaps in my ics with no feeding issues... however my nice midcap g&g metal mags feed but cause an airseal problem for the first 20-30 rounds out of it, i believe the mag springs too strong at that point, pushes up on the nozzel and the bbs just fall out of my barrel. from poor airseal with the hopup.

I just got an ICS-128 two months ago. I purchased a box of 10 Magput PTS EMAG 75R mags. They work fine with my gun.

By the way, have you tried using your ICS mags in any other AEGs? I tried my two ICS high-cap mags on an Aftermath Knight CQB gun and it wouldn't feed BBs.
