If you're looking for something worthwhile dude, you'll be looking to save well up to 300 - 500 dollars.

There are cheaper options out there still, but get age verified. Its a simple process of meeting a verifier to confirm you're over 18 years of age. It has to be in person, though. So no ID over webcam or anything like that.

If you put in the scope (mag) in and point it downward does a BB or BB's roll out?

If so:

Fire empty a couple of shots, then WHILE pointing the AEG upwards install the scope (mag) and fire while still pointing upwards if it fires normally you hop-up has gone South... Maybe the retainer pin (plastic) simply sliped out ((explain spring)) or it broke..

In any case disassemble... If it just sliped out, reposition and glue the pin in position (((without hindering hop up movement))) if it broke... figure out what happend and try to reglue the parts

If not, taking into account you did a complete teardown and didnt see anything broken in half... check if that spring couldnt be the nozel return spring... that would explain most of the symptome you descrived... and the presence of the spring

If the spring anchor is broken... sometimes you can bore a hole, put in a small protruding screw and glue eveything with 24hrs epoxy

By the way... Good on ya... try to fix it... that is how you learn... Don't take no shit from a machine!!! Keep us posted!!

Cheers

help

If you're of age (18) and looking for a decent gun, head down to xtreme tactics. The prices are awesome and service is utterly amazing. He's been in business for almost ten years and his techs can make anything go.

@Sportco:

WHAT???? Wow.... That was some magic guesswork right there.

I honestly would have been like, eh.... it's just like everyone else warned people, they have a high lemon rate and could be DOA or break on the second day I use it. This guns going in the garbage/going to be hung on my wall.

OP: That gun isn't the greatest but it'll be OK at CQB games. It's just when you go outside and attempt to use .20's you're lowering your FPS even more (but keeping the same muzzle energy so don't think you can make a gun shooting hot not shoot hot if you use heavier BB's). AND the system in it kind of sucks, and a host of other factors come into play.

In short, if you want to play outside at minimum get a Crosman Airmag C11 (Airsoft version NOT the .177 version) or the S34P shotgun (which is a spring shotgun but a TM clone so is actually pretty decent). Also never pay full retail for the guns I've listed above, they come on sale sometimes so snatch them up when they're on sale, IMO they're not worth paying full retail for.

Also, a better route would be to go with an Aftermath Kraken if you're on a tight budget (again don't pay full retail for this, they come on sale semi regularly and can drop to anywhere between $100-120 and normally retail for $180-200).
