Grinding Sound

K so i recently changed some stuff in my gun. I put it all back together and it worked fine for a whole game. Last Sunday i brought m,y gun up to my moms place in the boonies and was zeroing in my scope finally. So i dumped a mag and it was fine it shot perfectly. When i loaded a second mag and started shooting i heard some grinding after a few shots then it would stop then it would start again after a few shots.. I took my gearbox apart and noticed that some of the lock tight that i had put on my buffer tube bolt was all over the gearbox.. Little pieced here and there. Must have come out through the spring guide.. Has anyone ever had this before. I mean nothing is really wrong with the gears at all no broken teeth or nothing.. Same with the piston head.. Looks all ok.. The only thing i did notice a bit was that the spring on my reverse stop latch was a tiny little bent..

why did you loctite the spring guide screw? Did you inspect the gears to make sure that they are about to strip? Mechbox aren't suppose to be making grinding noise.

It's a G&G Gr16 R4 Commando

I used lock tight cause i replaced the spring guide. I put an 110 spring in and changed the spring guide cause the G&G one doesn't cut the mustard especially if i wan't to go to a 120.. Anyways the threads on the modify spring guide aren't as abundant as the G&G so i had to use loctite and some washers so i could get the distant so that the bolt could get some grip.. The bolt was slipping either wise.. I mean there was hardened lock tight in the piston guides or whatever they're called on the gearbox it is possible that they were just rubbing up on the piton itself causing it to malfunction like that.. It would shoot then some bb's would fall out the barrel. I am assuming this is from the piston so hopefully if i clean it all out and get rid of the loctite and re grease it will be all back to normal..

Nah i can tell everything seems to be ok.. I'm going to replace the Reverse Latch, Clean and re grease and lube everything remove any more excess loctite then adjust the motor like what zone 69 said.. Pretty much well the obvious is the problem.. If not i might just have to change the gears and the motor as well. :P
