Buying a suit for upcoming summer :D

So... I've got all the little things like knee pads, holsters, etc... But I still need a vest, and some pouches to attach to it. As well I'm in the market for some comfortable pants and boots

This was the vest I was looking at:
http://www.pantacgear.com/pantac.gea...ctid-1726.html
OD RRV. Seems like a nice price.

However, I was wondering what are some good pouches I could wear over this thing. I'll be needing about 4-6 mag pouches. Any modular would be preferable so I can add to it if I need it.

Also, got any comfy boots you guys like? I don't intend on wearing my globe skate shoes into the bush lol

Thanks again guys

There is already a thread on boots.

6 mag pouches is a bit much.

Six is a bit much? Well maybe if they are doubles then ya, but I rock 6 mags and still plan on getting 2 more. Check out Warfighter tactical I got a sweet molle vest with 4pouches for $50 last year. 5.11 gear is comfy and those are your best IMO for tactical pants if you don't want cammo. Boots I just got at my local surplus, made sure they fit nice and were waterproof.

The price for the item you linked is for the back panel only, that is only half of the vest pictured.

Not necessarily. I run around with 10 G3 70 rnd metal mid caps every time I gear up. I usually have 1-2 500 round high caps nearby as well, in the (likely) case that someone decides to lend me a lipo In total, that runs me to about 12 double-M4 mag pouches for about 10 mags. If you're thinking about weight, pugs, I also happen to carry at least one full metal pistol and at least 3 spare pistol mags. Even though the added weight impedes my ability to move quickly for extended periods of time (let's be honest, it's mostly my current state of physical conditioning haha), to each his own, right?

Also, I'm pretty sure that the link shows a BACK PANEL to a chest rig, not the complete vest-thing itself. (My terminology is probably off; that just goes to show how much I know about gear, lol). Oh wait, upon reading that again, Wrath already noted that.

Learn how much ammo you use in a day and carry that much ammo, no more. Run around with a high cap or two for a day before you buy all of your gear - this way you can figure out what most people wear and how much crap they carry, in addition to what camo patterns are effective in your area. I think that my surplus faded woodland BDU pants do a great job if I'm creeping around in brownish/yellowish areas.

Good boots are good, yes. Sorry, I don't really know what else to say about boots, all I know is that anything that isn't a boot won't cut it.

Send a pm to Knyte

He's the co-owner or Warfighter Tactical.

They can provide you with ANY gear you could ever dream of.
