Pants

So, just broke my last pair of wal-mart special work pants.

Looking for something a little more robust.

Anyone have experience with 5.11 taclite's?

Or else, anyone want to throw a suggestion my way?

Tru SPec 24/7 pants....best tac pants I have owned yet. Beats 5.11's hands down. Remember You will get what you pay for.

Available at SEALS ACTION GEAR here in Canada.

Try Carhartts, they last me around 6-8 months on construction. They can be had at Marks Wearwarehouse. That's if you meant for work wear.

Anyone have any experience with Seals Action Gear 24/7 pants?

I'm liking the layout of those ones specifically.

I have two pairs of Tru Spec 24-7's ...I LOVE THEM. They are bomb proof. NO offence to Armyissue but I have been wearing army issued stuff for over 20 yrs. These are awesome pants and should last a long time.

First off , what kind of work are you doing?
I used to buy the propper battle rip , ripstop bdu pants for work. Over 8 years I only needed to buy 4 pairs of pants. At the time I was a billiard mechanic and most of the wear was from carrying things (wore the hip out) and crawling around under pooltables so I wore the double knees out.

Now that Iam working in a trade (sprinkler fitter) they arent good for anything more then finishing. I have been using carhartts for awhile but I find that for the price they wear out in the slashed tool pouch to quickly. Iam now using dickies (without a double knee) and for the price they are fantastic. I got 3 pairs for $50 6 months ago and they are showing no signs of wear. I bought them from a dickies outlet in the states but walmart sells them , and you can buy them online. They come with a good warranty aswell.

There's an ebay store named desertdeucesurplus that sells the same items as SAG does.

It's worth checking for a price comparison as their shipping is not insane and SAG may not have your size in stock.
