Another question, are there stores I can buy airsoft guns from? Or does it have to be all online?

What pus meant by "BB gun" for plinking is something like a Daisy BB gun that shoots .177 cal pellets NOT an airsoft.

As for you, if you're in Surrey you'll have to go to PoCo if you want a walk in store for airsoft.

If you want a "BB gun" or plinker then anywhere really, CT, Walmart, Hunting Stores, etc.

I really suggest something like an Anschutz if you want a solid ("competition grade") plinker. For recreation something like a Daisy will do well.

poco military opened a second store in langley it would be closer for him. but an airgun from canadian tire or the other places you posted would be better if the OP's goal is to plink/target practice in the basement.

Is there any places outdoors that I could go to? I don't have a basement, or enough room in my house to shoot.

If you get an airsoft gun yes you can go to panther paintball in surrey BCAC and OPFOR hold games there on the weekends it'd be a good time to get age verified as well. Surrey and most other cities have bylaws which prohibit the use of airguns and airsoft outside unless at a paintball field.

So there aren't any places I can go to set up some pop cans and shoot them? :P
Does getting verified cost money? I read the FAQ and didn't see it written anywhere, unless I missed it.

No it doesn't cost money. The verifiers are volunteers and do it on their own time. Its always nice to show up with a large double-double or something though.
