Gun Bag/Case

Hello fellow Airsofters...
I will soon be buying a Sig 225 AEG gun from a member on this site and as I have a 2 year daughter, I am going to be locking this gun up on a shelf in my closet, but when I go out to games and such I want a case or something to contain the gun and stuff while on the road, does anyone have any suggestions for cases?
I work at the airport here and see quite a few Pelican cases, they seem quite nice and heavy duty, but I'd like something with velcro and such to keep the gun from moving around to much

your best bet is to go to local sporting goods stores/gunshops and have a look around.. Canadian tire has great guns cases that can hold your gun and a good quantity of mags and other stuff that you need at a game, plus they are not expensive. I have an mp5 and I found the the Barretta CX-Storm bag is perfect for what I need.. albiet I also have seperate case for my pistol and what not but thats me.. hope this helps...

cases

my favorite part of the larger canadian tire cases is. Once you have many guns and cases they stack up neatly and can be stood on end too. different sizes and stlyes of cases dont stack up as tightly. Ball cancer is right, you can fit you sig, mags, battery, charger, side arm and even have room left for snacks in these larger tough cases. I think they sell in barrie for $30.00 for the large 4 ft size.

This is all you need. It has cell eggshell foam inside so your gun cannot move when it's inside and closed up.

Dont regret buying a gun bag. I own one of the large gun cases from Canadian Tire which Holds 2 AEG's, 10+ Mags, Batteries, Tools, and a Pistol but when i go out to play CQB I throw one of the AEG's and the Pistol into the gun bag and drive away. The Canadian Tire cases are great for storage but are very bulky to carry around.

Im assuming the person your buying from knows you personally outside of the board because technically selling to unverified members via the board is not allowed.

As for the case you can go as cheap as the CT ones posted or you can gop as high as the Pelicans you mentioned and even higher but then your just getting into realms of idiocy.

Something like this would be ideal for a couple AEGs once you cut the foam inserts to fit.

Can't go wrong with the Flambeau. I have one myself. $15, fits my M4, optics, 5 mags.

I also have a mini duffel bag to carry my other gear (goggles, BB's, Vest, etc.).

Also, it's a good idea to carry your stuff in an electric keyboard case. Just so you're not advertising "HEY EVERYONE I HAVE GUNS!".

PS: It's probably cool to let your daughter join in the games once she's old enough (like 14 or 15, but it's your call as a parent though, I'm just a university student and don't know anything about raising a family) and you can let her plink in the basement/backyard if you want to enforce gun safety/treating firearms with respect, and other things about firearms (can never start too young in regards to safety). I believe there was a member who let his son/daughter plink in the backyard under his supervision while teaching them about firearms safety (which is how things should happen).

Wow... That post went off topic quickly. But anyways....

- Flambeau case, $15 at Canadian Tire/Walmart (it has built in locks, so you can keep it locked in the case in the closet/under the bed and you'll be fine)
- Electric Keyboard bag (in case you ever need to be clandestine about these things)
- Gear bag/duffel bag to carry gear.
