Question KSC glock 26 full metal works with small mags but no big ones

Heya all

As the title says, my glock 26 works perfectly with all mags with a plastic slide (borrowed on a 26C ), but when I put the metal slide that came with it, it works only with the short magazines;
The 20 rounds mag shoots one round and then stops.The metal slide seems to cock back pretty well but the hammer doesn't lock.

what is happening?
thanksssss all!

are you using the SAME recoil spring for both metal and plastic slides?

that's usually the case. a stock recoil spring for a plasic slide doesn't have enough push for a metal one. the slide might look like it's going back but it's probably only getting 90% of the way. so it's not cocking your hammer for the second shot.

well I've tried both.
one rod is slightly longer than the other, I guess it has to be the one for the metal slide (it's heavier?)
I'll make more tries thanks

yeah, i woudl try the springs in different combinations with the metal slide. they aret too hard to take apart.

althought, i must reccomend this for ANY G26 user, makes changing springs a 20 second job....

edit: peep this, look how easy it is for me to take the guide apart....
