M4 Pistol Grip

Hello All,
I have a simple question here. How do I change the pistol grip on an M4, and are all m4 AEG pistol grips interchangeable? i.e. will a G&G pistol grip work on an ICS?

should be,
To change it out
take out the 2 screws at the bottom of the pistol grip
Remove the bottom plate, (tap it the side of the grip with a screw driver if its stuck in there)
then take out the motor tabs
pull out the motor
there should be 2 screws at the bottom of the pistol grip
then it just slides right out, make sure the wires dont catch

Also, it's important to remember how the wires looked when you removed them from the grip. Taking a quick picture of it might help you remember. It will make it easier to put it back together.

Those two gentlemen already cover how to change the pistol grip but just a head up, the G&G M4 pistol grip won't work on ICS because of the angel inside the grip, it won't work unless you want to modify it.

And i wouldnt go as far to say all are compatible with each other i have found that some brands need a little moding/shaving to fit correctly and of there are the ones that dont fit at all. some fit but mis-allign the motor as well. Just food for thought

Agreed KND i was typing as you were posting

So I wanted to put a MagPul MIAD grip on an ICS M4. Is there an ICS specific model?

That's my plan as well but there is no specific for ICS. you need to mod one to fit on the ICS. I might mod two and send extra one to you if you are willing to pay.
