Same size. Want it to really look like a 'sapi plate'? Shape it, and paint it.

You might have some trouble with the flat front of the kickboard, as it may push the mags on either side of it out too much. Try it and find out. Let us know.

It's a fairly common practice to use foam plates instead of replica plates. People usually use foam with some give, such as camping mat, rather than the hard, rigid kick boards.

Toy Soldier SAPI plates are hard, but have a curved surface to keep them in line with the bodies curves. Shirley, your curves are not flat,

Just cut the kick board into like 5 pieces(horizontally) and place it in order into the Plate Carrier. it will curve with the body with no problem

A couple issues of Penthouse should work better. Gives you something to "read" (the articles of course) during respawn. This would also turn your plate carrier into an actual "magazine pouch". Be the envy of all your friends!

Either that or slice them in even portions but not all the way through. Leave like 1 cm or 2 to allow the board to bend.

I've got black foam core in mine, cut releif lines into it then duct taped the plate into an angle. works great

$20 a piece. factor in your time to make and maintain the "$1" sapi... and you have a much cheaper alternative ...

Plus it's waterproof.
