plastic repair kit

i found a vid of a plastic repair kit on youtube, its called plastex. its a canadian company(plastex.ca) but there website seem's to be down or something. can anybody recommend what's the best palstic repair kit that can handle most types of plastic? i am looking for something much stronger than epoxy and glue, something not just simply bond them but sort of weld them together to make it more durable. thanks.

you can buy plastic weld products at a hobby shop. There are a few brand names like Tennax and ProWeld, they are chemically identical and they are basically Methyl Ethyl Keytone (MEK). It works great but if the parts are bent you should go over it lightly with a heat gun (hair drier works too, just not as well) after its dried to normalize it and remove the internal stresses.

Don't use it on any type of foam or rubber (it'll melt it) and make sure the area is well ventilated. This stuff if absorbed, consumed or inhaled causes: brain damage , cancer, birth defects and mutated sperm.

Like I said though it works great if you use it right.
