VSR10 sear

A friend asked me for help on his cheap VSR10 clone (the TSD one, I guess it's the Well MB03). It's got the classical slamfire problem. After a complete disassembly of the piston and trigger groups, I narrowed the problem to the piston sear which isn't overly worn, but it's to only part that has visible wear... so I guess it's coming from it.

Sure, he could install a PDI or Laylax trigger group, but it'd be worthless in this gun.

Doest anybody know where to find a MB03-compatible trigger sear (which isn't a 50$ highly upgraded one).

Thanks!

hmmmm

I had a problem like that once it was the piston was getting chewd up by the sears pin, check the piston for any wear on it.

After reading a bit, I've found it was either the sears or the piston... and it seems the piston doesn't have any visible wear.

There was, however, and outstandingly hight grease volume which I did my best to remove that shitty job...

I did buy a new sears pin for mine and it keep the same problem with it. As soon as I put a New metal VSR-10 piston it worked fine. did it start acting up after you pulled the trigger mech off the gun.

What I did is that I cocked, wiped of grease, shoot, cock, wipe of grease, shoot,... and after 7-8 times it started to slamfire.

Yeah thats what mine did. Look around the piston where the sears catches it and look for Flatening around the outer part. If there is then it is the piston.
