I have used krylon's camo series of paint and some camo paint available in my local surplus store. Always start with the lightest colour you can (tan or light green) coving the gear completely. If you want to add some pattern use darker colours after. I have painted my holster , rolly polly pouch (shown below) a camelbak transformer (which only comes in black) and a wyvern brit dpm chest rig. Here is what a few look like.

Just make sure you get it all sprayed...nothing worse then random lines all over from the webbing.

Now that I think about it, I painted a whole back pack in OD. It was neon orange and black with reflectors before. Now it's all dull and OD. The paint stick well but where there is a lot of friction, the orange and black start to show.
It's a good way to turn a school bag into a cheap ass tactical bag hehe.

No problem, just be forewarned that they are always selling paint like crazy, so sometimes the store has very little selection. So if they are out just ask them for the next shipment date and be there!

Looking good there bud.
For myself I used yellow paint and then sprayed the tan overtop, just to get a bit more yellow to it. If you want more pictures, just look for British forces during the start of OIF. I distinctly remember seeing some blokes with 'M4 vests' and PLCE belt kit that had been painted.

I've painted a couple pieces of nylon gear (holsters and my CF 82 pattern webbing) and started off with OD primer, then Krylon over top. It worked, but it'd chip off with use and end up looking pretty rough, but still looked decent.

I'm guessing that if you paint gloves it'll bleed over to whatever you hold for any period of time, right?

Kos, looks sick bud! Once you wear it out, some of the paint will fade etc, it looks even more badass when that happens, take some pics of it after usage!
