WA infinity not firing.

Hello troops ,
Problem whit WA Infinity 4.3 inch
here's what happened , took a shot (Whit green gas) slide went back ok , but stopped 3/4 of it's way back to the front.
Now i dont know anything about GBB , thats because i own 4 and never had any kind of troubles.
I forced it back (probably shouldnt have done that) and now the slide is in the right position but when i fire , all the gas is released and nothing happens.
I always took care of this gun , used only green gas and even oiled it whit pure silicon oil a couple of times. This gun was bought brand new not a year ago.
Any help is welcome.
Is anyone fixing guns in Quebec , Montreal area?
Thanks
Marc

Western Arms guns aren't Green gas compatable. Bad things happen sooner rather than later. I have the 4.3 Infinty and have installed the Flow restricter from Airsoft innovations to use Propane. No problems. Can you move the slide at all? Maybe pop the mag out and remove the slide and look for broken BBs or a jam.

Sounds like your blowback oring is out of place.

Remove your slide and pull the nozzle body (#84) forward. Check to see if the oring (#88) is in it's proper groove. I'm guessing that it's gotten swollen and has lifted out of the groove.

They're designed to recoil well on HFC134a which is a lower pressure propellant (70psi vs. 115psi).

On a very rare occasion if you haven't upgraded the chamber to metal, the figure 8 piece within the hopup where the slidestop goes thru can jam the chamber UP, pushed it up, so that the chamber jams the double horizontal grooves within the inside top of the slide.

If you have upgraded the chamber to metal, I advise you to take that piece out all together by unscrewing the 2 screws in the hopup, DON'T open the hop, just open very little just enough to slide that piece out. That "8" piece is to help pull down the chamber when cocking but it's really not needed if you have a steel chamber. Taking out this piece does not affect the accuracy of the gun.

Besides checking the o-ring, you should also check that the chamber, outer assembly is in good working order. Also check the pin that pokes thru the chamber's legs.

Also if your SV is double feeding, it's possible that when your slide went 3/4 forward, a bb is jammed at the ejection port. As suggested above, check for frags in the blowback unit.
