Do you like the idea of the Larue Rail Clips? Comes with 2 hand stops too (I love those things more than the AFG, way more low pro and IMO feel a bit nicer to me for some reason)

I use the Larue index clips and they feel awesome for being so low profile. I got a set from Huang.

2nd on the Larue index clips - got them on my M4, and had 'em on my M14 DMR. Works a treat, without bulking up the rails further. You loose 1 or two once in a while, esp. if you are dragging the gun through the weeds, but the package usually comes with more than enough to keep you going in terms of replacement clips.
