Just a note. Baronsass takes great care of his gear, and those boots still blew apart in fantastic fashion. It's not an issue of maintenance. It was an issue in shotty workmanship from SMW. Could just be poor QA/QC *shrugs*
I'm not sure what I'll do when my pair of Richard A. Underwood Jacks finally give out. He only offered these repros for a few years back in 2005, and they were worth every penny. Hands down the best pair of footwear I've ever owned (modern or otherwise). Wish Richard Land was still around to resole them.
