I have the last few parts I need for my custom AR in the mail, and a eotech553 for the Block 2, but they didn't come in today, so I'm hoping Monday. Trying to order an m203 for the latter as well, but the seller isn't getting back to me

Hmm my block II is installed, just debating on ordering XTM panels or not

They would look good. I always liked the look of later type rail covers for a block 2 or Mk18 mod 0

I have so many rail covers I never put on anything though. I just like the feel of metal rather than plastic

Heh, ya it's technically backwards, but it allows for a better C-grip. Therefore it isn't backwards, just improved..

I also started running my front sight backwards so it doesn't flip back down when I'm moving through brush

Ya that's a good point. I'm going to replace those sights with Troy sights so it'll be even more important to do that, as they won't be spring loaded like the MAGpuls.


I ran into a snag with the urx4 build, in that a couple parts I ordered aren't compatible with the MAGpul lower, but it won't be long. It's just little things I need, and I'm going to see if my field's tech has them in stock

Thanks, Zack. Lots of trial and error lol sometimes I just take out a paint can and try different patterns on things
