By scrubbing the pistol carefully in strategic spots with an ultra-fine grit sanding sponge that I bought from Walmart for a buck. Must be done with care and lots of patience.

Ladies and gentlemen! In my daily search of whats new overseas I came across this slide and frame set by Nova.
Is this the new way to build 1911 receivers for airsoft? (like a hicapa without transplanting inner rails) allowing us to no longer have to have a donor receiver? If this is the case I cannot wait! Don't you have to have it registered as a firearm part because the frame is serialized for legal issues?
Sorry but I know more about ar15 lowers, the 80 percent kind, than pistol frames

I don't like it though... SAI. They don't look proper to me. The short scalloped silver one looks ok.

Very nice as always wolf! Would you be willing to show a picture of the frame if/when you do get it?
I'm very interested to see how the rails and the frame are done because it seems to remove the need for a donor set of rails, and they should have no problem making the rails full length. As in not having the gap on the left side. Yes eluder I agree haha the SAI makes the 1911 look a bit chunky but I am excited to see the rail design |

Nah.. The AS is done the "old" way...
You need the inner frame! The new frame rails is from the SAI kit and after a standard feat! Wolf
