A little project I've been working on, TM based. My first unreal/non-milspec build but I was looking for something small and light for out door play which could share my sidearm mags. Suppressor is housing a 24cm 6.01. I would have rather gone with a threaded barrel over the strike kit but I didn't want the weight causing the slide to bind. Only thing left is to build a 25rd mag forgrip (if anyone remembers the KSC G23F version).

Facelift for my HK3 G17.
Added HK3 Gen 4 frame and was finally able to add a PGC slide & barrel (took a lot of filing & fitting of the front frame rails and swapping the entire hammer assembly from my KJW to get the slide to work well).

This is the first Glock and first "VVE" in my life. I always want a G18C since the MGC released it. but then i want to have an unique one until i found a company in taiwan calls S.R.U (http://srugbb.wix.com/showroom) couple week ago. They produce some unique slides, the slides are not existing in the real world.
Part list: "VVE" G18C Gen 4 with Full marking SRU SR18C Stealth Slide PDI 6.01 Inner barrel for SIG P226 Maple Leaf Monster hop up rubber RA Tech recoil spring Guns Modify LW Type Extended Slide Stop Guarder Magwell Shooter Design G18C Z Tech outer barrel Here are the pictures about it.

I have a bunch of Guarder's brand new 2013 version frames coming in... both black and tan colours.
They're using a stronger material (fibre reinforced nylon), so *HOPEFULLY*, that fixes the front screw issue (don't get your hopes too high up, yet. LOL). The feel of the material is supposedly much more realistic, as well. |

I find my TM g18 with guarder frame to be too big for any RS holster so far... And any idea on price yet? |

It doesn't seem like they did anything to the internal portion of the 2013 frame unfortunately. They added a faux bar pin though, technically that qualifies as a new structure... The post breaking off is a design flaw, not a material flaw. The pre-2012, and 2012 were still made from glass filled nylon composite, the same material, perhaps in different ratios in matrix-fiber material. I'm very skeptical of their Asian marketing. lol But you are still going to have to machine a slot in the forward chassis to proof this issue entirely. Seriously, how easy is it to change one part of their mold. This is what you want. A steel post with a neck flange.

+1 to that. I recently found this mod out from some machinist around here who had an RS Glock and I'm testing it on their older frames. The flange helps ALOT. Although, i used JB Weld to create a makeshift flange around the casing. I have to find a better one for it and somehown elongate the post a bit longer. I takes a lot of work dremminling out the front chaisis and the stock safety to fit the flange too. In fact, doing this mod will almost mainly put that safety out of commission. We had to switch out to the other Guarder safety just to make the frame more accommodating. So much work for such a measely little part... I doubt Guarder would make a drastic changes to that screw casing. Most people bought in to the whole brass casing thing already. They have to re- design it completely in my opinion or use better material. THeir frames in general are lousy in dimensions as well. At least when compared to the stock one... A Guarder slide with the Guarder frame never cycles right unless certain modifications are made. I mean...That says alot about their products...
