I know PSP made the CF tactical vest (TV), but I don't believe they have anything to do with the uniforms. That's Peerless Garments' baby. Peerless Garments is based out of Winnipeg, and they have the uniform contract for combats, Gore-Tex jackets and parkas. Interesting note, they also did the RCMP bulletproof vests, as well as their uniforms for members serving in Afghanistan.

Apparently I can't buy one of the Afghanistan RCMP combat uniforms just yet :P Damn my being a kit whore!

All that said, good find on the PSP thing for uniforms.....I may just have to use that resource if things don't pan out in the future.

Does anyone have a link to a site that will sell that style and colour of BDU? In Canada? Are they cotton?

Thanks

I believe most BDU uniforms are now either a poly/cotton twill, or 100% cotton rip-stop. Between the two, the rip-stop is lighter (and thus nicer for using in the bush) while the twill will keep you a little warmer.....a plus for those cooler nights around Halloween. Assuming you wanted to show up at parties looking like an SRU member.

Me thinks I'll have to give Jeroon a shout anyway, it's been a while since we last chatted.

I personally think that the vests look like the one pictured here. and this one's not $250.
This one is not quite as technical, as there is a cross-draw holster. (unless they do use the crossdraw)
http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/UTG_Ai...Vest_Black/751

there is also this vest technically for S.W.A.T.http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/UTG_La...SWAT_Vest/1722
But, I don't think that's the one. (it looks pretty cool though.)

Was reading the toronto sun (for July 27th) and spotted ETF in a article about a man who held up a swiss chalet at gunpoint. I photographed the newspaper image and will post it up tomorrow. Looks like they still wear the Grey uniforms and not Black like flashpoint does now

If it hasn't been noticed and said already, while watching season one I noticed a few Blackhawk logos on the vests(except for the one worn by Enrico Cantoliani).
EDIT: Mordanski already said it.

I'm not terribly surprised, seeing as Winnipeg's Tactical Support Team (TST) primarily uses Colt Canada (Diemaco) C8 CQB Carbines. My best guess is that it is a more intermediate type weapon that can be used at either a short or semi-long distance whereas an MP5 has a more limited range.

I was wondering the same thing: why did they switch to black shirts, and often don't wear helmets anymore?
