the translucent plastic that TM uses is much better than echo1's or any othe ACM locap. I've tossed around annd manhandled tm locaps and not cracks or chips, still feeds perfectly. The mags that came with my echo1, however, already has chips but still feeds perfectly.

I'm on the left side.

4 mags on vest, 1 in gun. It last me enough in CQB. But for outside use, it's not enough.

Noted. I was wondering about the single points and how they work. That other sling looks much better for support during those long milsim days.
cheers

Alright well im thinking 4 mags for now (I'm too lazy to find out more about mid and high cap mags, so im going low cap, now to find dirt cheap magazines) and see how that turns out.

BTW if anyone sells BOTH low P90 mags (perferablly TM and/or Echo 1, nothing else) and a Double or Triple mag pouch or even a vest or leg pouches (for a reasonable price) please PM asap

Ask Jugglez about these: http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1490

The Marui ones are a little pricier: http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1149

These guys are ASC retailers but from the US so you'd have to account for international shipping and brokerage/customs/duty fees. http://www.airsoft-unlimited.net/osc...p?cPath=50_160

Great comms with both companies.

It might be me though. Since all my guns used to be weighed down with a heavy m203 and king round, I had to either hook a single point to my vest or wear a single point bungee sling so the weight was over the shoulder.

Dude I have trouble burning through half a bag in a day and sometimes I can be trigger happy.

1 bag of 2000 **should** last you for about 2 and a half days.

2-4k is what I usually dump on skirmish days. but that's a lot of shooting at nothing waiting for people to get organized on the field. remember, if you have low caps and only a handful of mags, 2000 rounds is a lot to reload.

but, when I shoot the M4, I bring 12-15 (field 11+1) midcaps all in the 130-190 round range so it's mighty easy to dump a mag at a tree or something else on the field but still have enough ammo for a few games. Reloading is even easier with the help of an electric speed loader.

although, packing that many p90 mags is going to be a tough task. :P

a bag of 4k is plenty enough to help a buddy out when he drops his bag all over the ground.

most games I'm at, most of us leave our propane and BB's out for others to use if they need to top off a mag or reload a few. It's not required that one ask but it's nice to hear it before they dig in. I do take issue though when someone's in my gear bag without asking.

By experience, hicaps are crap... They work when brand new. First time you drop them or forget them wound, they jam like crap. Then you have to slam the top of the mag (into the rifle) to move the BBs and unjam.

I had a P90 recently, and lowcaps are the best. It was my second P90...

The boxmag thing is also painfull. It makes it akward to hold the rifle, cause it to be a lot more front-heavy, looks like shit and you have to wind the M4 mag now and then.

I used to have 6 mags with my first and 8 mags with my second.

But 5 is a good number if you use semi or 3 rnd. I almost never fire full auo...

You can use AK tripple mag pouches (one pouch hold 3 mags) The ones with a rounded top. These fit 2 P90 mags perfectly, and are avalable in MOLLE system. Drop-legs are not that efficient, since the extra weight and mass on your legs will hinder you when running. And you run the extra risk of putting dirt and shits in your mags.

If you can sew a little, you can make yourself a nice sling for under 10$. Get some 1" straps (I used some from an old backpack), one 1" clip and one "adjustment loop" Then make a cross with the straps, and stitch them.

Slide the female part of the clip onto one part.

Fold that "arm" over the loop of the clip and stitch it over the crossing. You should have a "T" with the clip on top.

Place on the side of the P90. Wrap the arm opposed to the clip into the thumb hold and on the other side of the rifle. Then wrap both remaining straps to take measure. Make a loop from the first strap to go over and under the two others. Stitch in place (stitch on itself so that there is a hole to slide the other ones in). Cut the excess.

Then slide the adjustment loop over the top strap (the one that goes over the top of the rifle). You want to place it just above the edge in the middle.

Loop the strap and stitch in place to hold the adjustment loop there. Cut the excess.

Then all you have to do is place the remaining strap in the sling hole at the bottom, and insert it into the adjustment loop.

The rifle part is done.

Use a left over of strap, place the male clip in and fold it on itself. You want about 1 1/2" long on both sides of the clip. Take a piece of paracord. 4" is enought.

Fold it and make a flat knot between both ends. Place the knot between the strap parts. Stitch everything together.

Done!

I used an old laptop bag sling. Clip both hooks in the paracord loop. Place the sling over your non shooting shoulder and under your shooting arm. When you drop the rifle, it will go under your arm and out of the way. The sling is not in the way when shooting and does not obstruct movement when sighting.
