Lots of good ideas here. This will only get worse as things heat up.

PS if anyone needs compressed air, I have it pretty cheap.

Cheers!

I know this might sound rudimentary, but WAY back at OPCT2 I just poked some holes in the bottom of the pouch I was using for my dump pouch. If you use eyelets (you can buy them from fabric land) thus the sand drains out. It really worked well for me.

Get a second dump pouch for sandy condition and modify it with the eyelets.

Just a suggestion hope it helps.

Just an idea I'm pulling from P90 mag pouches - you could incorporate a snap on seal to the flap of the mag pouches. Store the mag with the BBs and feed lips up, and snap the seal over it when you close the pouch.

Also, I never use a dump pouch. I prefer rigid mag holders (like fastmags) and ram the spent mag back in after exchanging it with a fresh one. If you're using new P/E-Mags, you could tether the snap on cover to the mag holder with some webbing (to maintain orientation) and close them over the mag.

Take mag bang against helmet problem solved, thats what I used to do at Defcon games when I dragged or dropped my mags in the sand . When I decided to clean my barrel which I don't often do the tissue I used was really dirty.
