I really don't think we should be pissing on this guy *that* much. I mean sure he does have a kind of shitty gun that's only really good for plinking but at least he IS AV'ed and that's more that anyone can really as for isn't it? I mean most of these noobs that come here are like "too much time 2 get AV'ed" "I can't" "My dad just bought 250 acres of land outside of ____ City I don't need to go to games I can have my own" "I don't want to go to games" etc.

OP: Pure and simple it's a crappy gun for outdoor field use. For basement use, go at it but you should really consider a gun for at least $350. That'll get you the minimum required to play (note, it's not "REQUIRED" however does put you at a good mediocre entry level to expand on) and you can just gather other gear as you go along.

correction, he paid $110 for it, so he got a deal!

On the real tho for that money, he could have:

- bought a bag of bb's 10-15
- rented an aeg 25-40
- paid entry fee at a game 20-35

and found out if he liked airsoft as a hobby and not have had to make this thread, although it is entertaining

Imagine bringing a twig to a Pool game, where everyone has proper pool cue sticks.
You might get lucky, and be able to hit the cue ball a few times without it breaking.

Sure you can use it at a game, but you might find yourself a little lacking.

Best advice, hit up a game talk to guys see about renting an AEG. Learn the ropes at a game, ask somebody to help you out no harm in that at all.

While the quality of your item may seem fair to you, it does not match up to or meet the standards of that of the majority of the members of this website. A few reviews of the exact gun that you own have been done in the past and when compared to other airsoft guns it was found to not be all that great. A few of the cons were that it had a plastic body, and that its internal mechbox was made of plastic as well. While your item may seem to function the same way as most other airsoft guns do, its performance will pale when compared to something of a qaulity manufactured airsoft gun. Think Kraft Dinner VS generic cheese noodles. While they may appear to be the same, there noticeable differences in quality, and those differences are reflected by the price.

Take what people say on this website with a grain of salt, sometimes people come off with a little more attitude than they should.

Pretty much T7 has summed it up as nicely as possible. If you are happy with it, everything we say is irrelevant anyways.

I say use the gun until it breaks, and in the meantime save up for a better gun. At least that way you won't be wasting your money and throwing the gun away.

I used that exact gun for my first game, loaner from a friend. It is truly terrible. I still had fun, but i only got one kill, and that was with a sig springer It has about a 25-50ft range depending on the BBs you use. Low fps, and excruciatingly poor accuracy. But, believe it or not, the gun is actually pretty durable. The one i used is still in working condition after a few thousand rounds.

But after that first game a promptly bought a real AEG. Been rocking an AK47 ever since, and the walmart shotty

Given that the rather optimistic rating on that gun is 300 FPS with 0.12g BBs and most airsoft games require a minimum of 0.20g BBs being used, that's roughly 230 FPS with 0.20g BBs (real life performance is probably less) meaning that you'll be outranged by basically everything everyone else is using unless are playing 10-15 meter CQB engagements indoors in which it might be okay.

I just woke up and now I have a huge craving for a box of KD...the 10 minute wait is going to be painful. Thanks.
