I bought one a while back (strictly for plinking targets). It's not very accurate. At 40 feet indoors i was getting groupings of about 5 inches wich is not good for a long barrel rifle at that distance.

The build quality is poor. The plastic feels low density not high impact abs (at the very least) I wouldn't game with it. One good smack and it could crack.

But, I do have to say a bolt action rifle is kinda fun. I've also bought the tsd l96 (both from buyairsoft) and i'd have to say that's a much better bolt action and it's not that much more money than the vsr-clone (wich is also tsd). Imo get verified and get an aeg. I now have a tmp90 and am much happier NOW than i ever was with the vsr. (although i still love the feel of the l96 :P )

I've had it for a couple of months now and yeah it still works fine. It just doesn't have a good build feel. Untill you get a quality weapon you won't know what i'm talking about. Even the l96 wich is from the same company simply feels better constructed.

If you plan to take the vsr onto the field keep in mind that sniping isn't as glorious as it is made out to be in movies. often at times you're sitting and waiting to aquire a target. If you give away your position you might as well stand up and bend over 'cause theres no way you counter with an awsome ROF of 40rpm.. (you would still need an aeg backup so get one first.)

Well so far i've plinked through about 800ish .25 bb's. It's still holding up fine. No issues. But keep in mind this is indoors (controlled conditions). Can't really say what'll happen if you take it out to a skirmish.

Yes. As stated previously it's a TSD.

Come to think of it I've had it for less than 2 months. But I did go through almost half a bag of 2000 bb's. So as far as reppetitive use is concerned it's held up fine. Feels the same as when i got it. The time test... we'll have to see.

It comes delivered in 2 parts. A 1 piece body (all plastic very cheap feel) and the firing ensemble (bolt, barrel, trigger etc.) the second half is almost all metal except for the trigger housing which is plastic. The gun fires at 400+fps which means it has a fairly stiff stock spring. So my only concern is whether or not the sear will break in time. And if that goes good luck trying to find a replacement. The gun would become an expensive door jam.

350??? I have a chrono and I'm consistently shooting 400+ with .2's... and what you should use? are you talking about bb's? the fps won't change with the brand of bb only the weight. stick with heavier .25 min. you'll still shoot over 350fps but it's much more accurate.
