I found a broken wire on my m16 where the wire exits the mechbox.
I never noticed it before,it was broken inside the heat shrink, this may explain my problems with my batteries.I try her out tomorrow on endurance tests.

Dude, are you really that hard on your guns?? LOL, just kidding.
We never managed to hook up to work on that M14, but it appears that you are learning the way of the tech. Keep up the good work bro, and good luck. SHA DO

I had this same issue before. My gun intermittently fired and didn't fire. Just resoldered and re-heat shrinked it. All good. Hopefully will fix your issues.

I'm guessing it was only attached by a few strands of wire, the shrink tube
would hold it together well enough if I didn't use my auto fire.I'm also guessing as I know squat about electrics that it would draw down my batt. quicker.

Yes since the resistance of the poor connection is WAY higher than what it is supposed

Well I just auto fired off 5mags in my M16 without a hiccup. And
that is the same charge from yesterday from testing the mechboxs before putting them back in the guns, firing 2 hi caps in the M14 semi and auto, testing the M16 2mags.All in all,I say I found the problem and it is fixed. This is a far cry from the 1 and half mags I used to get on auto fire with my M16.
