Airsoft guns are not "firearms or guns of any sort." They are not defined as "firearms or guns of any sort" in Canadian law. I suggest you start reading the FAQ and other information regarding the law and situation of airsoft in Canada before you start shooting your mouth off about shit you have no idea about.

Being 18 to play has nothing to do with owning the airsoft gun itself, it has everything to do with the liability of injury when you get hurt on an airsoft field. I bet you didn't think about that eh?

Yes, there are many "laws" in Canada that regulate minors using/possessing/transferring firearms.

Minors are prohibited from possessing prohibited or restricted firearms.

Minors may have a special "minor's license" in special cases for subsistance hunting or competitions, as well as a few other cases.

Minors may get a hunting license, but not without alot of riggamarole first, and are still subject to draws and limits like everyone else.

There are no websites in Canada that will sell to a minor anything that resembles a gun, both for Provincial statutes as well as common sense. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, but I doubt it. Importation of anything is illegal for a minor for the most part, and replica firearms especially.

Please go shop at Wal-Mart, or Canadian Tire, go play in a public park, and let us know where and when so we can call the Police to rid us of you.

Why don't you try playing paintball? That sport pretty much thrives off of kids, although there are a lot of adults too. If you truly adore airsoft, then you will remain on ASC; reading to gain knowledge and bashing Deraj because he is an idiot. *Honestly, I think that should be a rite of passage into airsoft...*

You will do all of this until you are 18, why 18? Because you need to be 18 to play because we can't be responsible for your actions...

By the way, fill out your profile so we can know where you live and how old you are so we can see where you're from. ASC is very useful if you respect the rules and don't act like an asshat, who knows, maybe someone will let you see their guns.

I give him points for that, and if he feels like hangin around and learning something, then we gained ourselves a new member and if not then we can always show him what we do to idiots 'round here

Although this is a forum, we are supposed to educate them.

Yeah, but as you see, not all of those guys accept the fact that we won't let them play unless they are 18+, you are the exception and that is only because of a loophole.

There are some who are underaged and can't wait to turn 18 to buy their first AEG (AEG because they've been educated and know that AEG's are best for first time gun owners! )
