Chances of getting Eagle gear any time soon is slim to none as well. We are being told four months or more for the gear we have on backorder. Most other dealers are getting very low on stock as well.

I was under the impression the US government was recalling exported armor, namely the CIRAS's. We actually had someone from the US treasury phone about the APC at AAsurplus. Like what the heck are we gonna do with a 50yr old demilitarized APC? We can't even drive to to winnipeg because there aren't enough gas stations along the way lol

Quote:
The CIRAS is a armour carrier, not armour. The US Government has no control over nylon carriers made by private companies.

Quick off-topic question, I ordered the Rhodesian vest with some pouches (one was a dump pouch, the other an admin and an m4 mag pouch) around the beginning of this month... just wonderin' what might the status be of such an order?

while we're on the topic of things illegal to export, why are magpul L-plates restricted to export?
http://cgi.ebay.com/Magpul-USGI-Mag-...QQcmdZViewItem I can understand why they'd restrict ranger plates, but the L-plate just cushions the mag when it hits the ground. |

We have the Ranger Plates in stock and why they would be restricted makes no sence what so ever.
You might need export permits approved by the US State Dept. but that would be it.
