Because Canadian Tire and Wal Mart are the only places in Canada to get airsoft guns.

By the by, if customs seizes your shipment, your name address will go on a list. Don't be surprised if your next shipments of computer parts, DVDs or rubber dog poop gets held at customs for a month undergoing inspection.

I THINK it might have been something to do with my location
If anyone here has been to Moncton Airport you know how small and unorganized it is. I live Very close to NB so hopefully it gets sent to moncton

it looks like a CA body, but it shoots as hard as a TM and doesnt have a scope
i'd steer clear of anything thats not atleast 350$ CAD

If you bother to check out our FAQ, get age-verified, and follow some basic rules, you will find out that we dont use Canadian Tire guns or anything from WalMart.

There is an entire section of Classifieds you cant read right now (until you get verified). There is a list of Canadian Retailers at the top of Each Page you read here. Those you can check out.

And last but not least, the place called ASC Armoury who happens to OWN these forums? Did you look there?

I hope for you that your gun does make it through for only one reason; your name and address will not be flagged at Customs. And that, sir, can really screw you good.

Best... it comes through.. and you get your gun.

Likely: it is seized... and you loose your money.. and your name goes on some list somwhere..

worst: You get busted for importing prohibited devices without a license. and you get sent to jail for 18 months and your life is ruined over a $100 toy gun.

Worth the risk? that is up to you....

I looked at the armoury. It may sound funny but I don't have $500 to $800 dollars for an AEG. how do they get into the country anyway?

they have a license. and if you don't have the money, save up. airsoft is definitely NOT cheap and you pay for quality.

You need a special license issued for movie props and theatrical production. This comes from the CFC (now administered by the RCMP). They are rare, expensive and full of legal difficulties once you have the license. That, along with heavy tariffs for products from Asia, mean guns are twice as much in Canada as they are listed on U.S. or Asian websites. It's the price we must pay, for laws that we don't like.
