I'm not trying to be argumentative, just pointing out what I see to be a flaw in the presented logic. Suppose I bought a new handgun at a gun show, an unexpected purchase. Now I need a new holster, so I order one. Should I have ordered the holster 6 months before I stumbled upon the handgun to ensure I had a holster for it? The answer is no. |

Morbius,
I understand where you are coming from. But the thing is I have yet to encounter a situation that I wait for over 6 months for a productThe longest I have waited for something is probably 2 months top. if that manufacturer has a back order for six months, I am fairly sure they will hire more people just for the sake of meeting the demand. On the other hand, there are some who bitch because they can't get their stuff just because they have the money right now. If you can't get a RAID, or a eagle MLCS mag pouch, or whatever, there are always alternatives (I easily listed three) for the intended purpose, i.e. to carry your shit. And if carrying your stuff for depolyment is so damn important, then you would have had something ready to go instead of buying one now because you need it tomorrow. I don't believe there is one thing out there in the tactical world that is only made by one company with no alternative choices and is so damn back-ordered you need to wait six months for it. So even if you can't get EXACTLY what you want, you can still buy a similar product. Is the RAID really THAT much better than the TAG three days? Hope this clears my point. Cheers. |

I know for a fact the RAID is a great bag so i don't mind waiting a bit for it. It would of been nice to have it alot sooner then 60 days but thats life. Nothing is perfect. The only thing I didn't like is the first come first serve. I really need this bag for the paras. I just think people who are in the military or some sort of Law enforcement should have first serve.

Is there a different wait time for the jump RAID version? You might want to get in line for that one.

Hmm... can't seem to find it at Lightfighter.com. They used to have a separate jump version of the RAID unless I'm mistaken. From what I recall it looked pretty similar to the regular RAID. You might want to give their live help link a try and see if they can give you any help. Usually best to talk/chat to a live person.

I just asked about it on the LF online help...

woohooooo.... I ordered the RAID in OD just the other day. They said it will take 60+ plus days... Then I went onto the LF forums and people on there have been waiting months.. Up to 8 months.. Anyways I just got an email from LF saying a huge shipment of RAID OD is going to be in in the next 2 weeks. So I called them and they are shipping me my RAID as soon as it comes. :innocent:
Anyone know a good place to order patches for my RAID pack? such as O Pos patch.. Canada or British flag.. etc... |

Should have my shipment of patches in the next week or so.

Make sure you talk to Melinda though and not hubby Mark. Mark is really busy and sometimes may umm... mislay your order.

I just got the last OD RAID of that 'huge shipment' Travis mentioned. Looks like anyone who wants one now is back to waiting until next year
