Australians dont wear OD anymore, and Israel still does. Doesnt turn into a blob at range... when dry.

The Austrians still do. They are however introducing a new digital camo. And I actually watched a video on youtube (a few videos actually) of a guy comparing camo and he had marpat, acu and some other pattern hung in a tree. Up close marpat looked really good and acu was awful, once he moved away it turned into more a of black blob and the acu was nearly invisible and they were dry as well.

I cant really see UCP being invisible in any environment except bare mountains, but W/E its your choice. Also its UCP (universal camoflague pattern), not ACU (army combat uniform). ACU is a cut, not a camo. Your choice, just keep in mind that repro gear will fall apart very quickly.

CAMO TESTING ACU-MC-MARPAT.MP4 - YouTube ^^^ First few mins of video shows how ucp can actually work and the dark blob that marpat becomes. |

Id say multicam easily worked the best. At the beginning if he put UCP near the ground where MARPAT was, it would have been obvious too. The UCP was behind branches so of course its going to be harder to see. Theres a reason almost ALL US SOF units use multicam and AOR1 now. Actually almost all SOF units all over the world use Multicam now. Theres a reason they didnt ask for UCP.
