Venture, what type of nozzle do you have inside?
the Steyr AUG requires a specific nozzle that is longer than the common V3 AEG !
also the cylinder head needs to be specifically the ones for AUG: the metal tube that goes into the nozzle is longer too.
pm me if you want some I have bags of them.
deepfire metal nozzles seem to have a terrible reputation; stick to plastic.I've tried one and it wasn't sealing properly.

If there is a regular V3 nozzle in there that is the problem. Same as other guns, AUG require nozzle made for AUG.

CA AUG nozzle is even longer, so you need one that states specifically for CA AUG.

I installed regulard V3 heads in my guns and never had issues with too short tube. Might be luck but I don't think it will cause any problem if that one is not longer.

Did you try an other head by the way? Might be cracked around the brass tube.
