When you decide to make the plunge into some camo, I recommend picking a pattern that you like then going hog-wild and buying new.
Surplus is a real crap-shoot and depending on the competition where you live can be way over priced.

Surplus OD Canadian BDUs:
Anywhere from $15 to $40 per pants/ tunic

Surplus German Flektarn BDUs:
Anywhere from $30-$50 per pants/ tunic

Brand-New Brand-Name US Woodland:
$42 + shipping per pants/ tunic at Stapleton's

You might say "$100 bucks for pants and a shirt to wear?! That's crazy.", but if I could have all the money I've spent on mediocre recycled clothing back, I could buy a new AEG.

In regards to eye protection if you plan on checking out Flag Raiders for your first couple games go by Canadian Tire and get some JT Paintball goggles. Flag Raiders and other paintball fields legally require you to wear paintball goggles while on their field, although JT also makes airsoft goggles those won't be acceptable for use and you'll be asked to rent some paintball goggles instead anyways.

Don't take chances with protecting your eyes as you only get one pair!

Flag Raiders doesn't rent goggles anymore. They only sell them now.

There's an idea. The opposite team would be looking for guys in camo.
