hey for any vfc 416 owners, how did you remove the pin so you can take the upper off? I can only get as far as removing the RAS and then get stuck trying to remove that 1 pin... arg!!!!

Got my 20' madbull disipator barrel on my 416. It has 2 gasblock/front sight connecting points so that my 416 gasblock can be in the right place.
EDIT: fixed the pics.(sonuva whore!!!! I deleted them, re-sized and re-uploaded them and they're still f*cking huge... I give up. their massive and they'll stay massive...) EDIT 2: Finally got the buggers to work!

yeah I tryed some cqb around the apartment switching back and forth from my 416 and my roommates m4 and wow... the massive barrel makes it impossible...
Removed iron sights! threw on a scope and extended the stock fully and she's a beaut! Please don't pay too much attention to my awesome laptop.

That's why I went with the 16" barrel length on mine instead. But as a field gun, that's gonna kick ass, especially with the tightbore.

Well I dissapear for a couple months and a 416 thread emerges. I would post some pics of mine but I am sure you have all seen it many times, in multipule setups.
