SrC guns

Hey there, i'm looking to purchase another AEG, I have two G&G's that are great guns. ***I'm sorry to hear about other peoples breaking but the ones i have are strong and work really well***. Now i also know you guys are going to say get Av'ed i don't have any spare time besides work to get av'ed especially when i can easily buy online. One more criteria i only want to spend around $400. So the src lineup popped up. Anybody have experience with them? How would you compare them to the G&G's?

EDIT*** EXCEPT THE LOWER RECEIVERS***

this question has been asked a billion times in this very forum. I think there is a discussion on it prob 2 pages over.

spoon

there was one on SRC VS G&G as well some place. You can search this specific forum in the top right corner *not the main search bar* and type in SRC...

Here is the link on 007 airsoft for the G&G vs SRC comparison.

I find that its a little tilted towards SRC, but take from it what you will.

Question

Sorry about that misleading comment. They work fine EXCEPT the plastic lower receivers. I picked up my gun the other day did this trick with my mag slapping the safety in auto then putting it into the chamber. I looked at the body after a few tries and it had a huge crack down it. My other one the pin holes on the front that connect the upper to lower broke off. Looks like i have to get some metal bodies..... I'm assuming the SRC have the same lowers though?

Instead of buying a halfbreed and then upgrading, why don't you just buy a full metal gun? It will be a lot cheaper in the end.

Yeah i've got my eye on a TM AUG for $500, fully upgraded. I've done some research on this site and on youtube and such apparently KWA makes one of the best G36C's and it's only $380 brand new on buyairsoft canada. What do you think about that compared to the AUG?

I think the TM AUG would be better. But that's my opinion.

just be aware that although the SRC's are extremely durable they also don't fit any aftermarket lowers alone - its pretty much a bodyswap or nothing. they also don't fit together like any gun I've ever seen - to get the upper off without damaging the lower u have to take all the pins out the gearbox - pain in the ass to work on lol - if however u plan on doing nothing to it they are great lol

Yeah the TM aug is sounding really good, the bodies on the cas guns are really turning me off to them.

why? to be flat out honest having used a full metal gun and the cas guns, theres nothing wrong with the bodies, unless you bash them into things they're damn durable, hell i've heard stories of someone chucking a CAS gun and it land in a pile of rocks and only get scratched and another person snapping a systema gun in half
