How long will this battery last

I read through the battery thread, i'm still confused slightly.

That is a 1500 MAH 8.4v battery, I am running it off a stock ICS M4A1

How long estimated will it last?
or how many rounds?
1000?
is it recommended to get two?

You should get two, just because you should have a backup.

However, I've been through a whole-day milsim using only one of those packs in a AUG shooting 400fps.

The way I was always told was roughly 75% of the mah.

I know with my 9.6v 3800mah I get about 3200 out of it before I feel it start to slow down.

Dont know if its correct or not but it worked well for me for years.

Tried to count out all the shots but does not take much with a friend there to screw up your count lol.

My count is based off claybank last year with how much I went threw lol.

Honestly, it depends on quite a few things.

First and foremost is the internal condition of the mechbox. If it's shimmed and greased properly, you'll get a lot more shots than one that isn't.

Second, I'd say the quality of the electrical connections and wiring. Standard small connectors have A LOT of resistance in them. Rewiring to deans or something will reduce the electrical resistance and get you more shots.

Personally, I'm able to play all day off an 8.4v or 9.6v mini battery (1500mah) in a upgraded gun. Some people can't.
