Velocity Vs Aftermath
I'm wondering if anyone on here has an opinion on the quality of Velocity Arms AEGs or Aftermath AEGs.
Both match my general budget range but i'm wondering if anyone can give advice on which is the better choice. ... Yes, I am a noob. thanks to anyone who replies. |

Aftermath is terrible and the VA customs I hear are quite nice.

I think VA guns are G&G.
Honestly, if I were you I'd get verified, and get something from the classifieds like a Classic Army. While G&G guns are decent quality, for a little bit more money you can get much better guns (read: full black, full metal, with better internals).

Some of the older VA guns were G&G ( there is a clearance GR16 on sale now at $263 ) but the newer M4,M16, & HK416s are all JG if I am not mistaken. They all have the smoked lower receiver which is apparently hammer proof where as the older VA guns were all clear.
JG is slightly better than Aftermath but then again you are paying more for them ($100+). |

Go with Velocity Arms, Canadian legal and Karnish is a good saleman, I see him off and on downtown once and a while. He garantees his products and I haven't had any complaints with his product.

His point wasn't that you could import guns from America, it was that the term "Canadian Legal" is bullshit. Whether you can import something or not does not designate its legal status.

That correct term should be "CBSA allowed... for now"
