Airsoft vs Paintball games

Has there ever been games, skimirshes, etc. where its airsoft players vs paintball players? Or even airsoft players mixed in with paintball players against each other.

So airsoft players would have to wear additional gear and clothing, because of the paint and paintball players would have to use the honor system.

WHY? Just why? .I Dont think so .but they do make horrible paintballs in 6 mm for airsoft guns

What? That's like some horrible one-night stand between airsoft and paintball that should never happen.

Especially since the last time I went paintballing, there were too many kids. Complaining about stuff.

Airsoft's about maturity, paintball's not. Unless its milsim kind of paintball, but still.

I'm just wondering, because both airsoft and paintball is similar, but just uses different guns and ammo. It might expand the community a little more too. Also, for people who do not have an airsoft can use their paintball gun to play and vice versa. But I still like airsoft by a long shot.

Sure if you're not calling your hits you are asking for it, but other wise no.

And the mess? No. It's bad enough I get that garbage funny colour jizz on myself when I play at a field, let alone get covered in the bukaka on purpose.

It depends where you go, but at some places I've been at the 'Honor' system is a joke.

Exactly. In most cases, paintballers are just too cocky, and think their better than airsoft. Would not like to play against that, never mind the paint, and possibility of wrecking my gun.

I used to do it all the time when I first got airsoft. We played milsim paintball so it was pretty similar. After a while we switched over to all airsoft because it's just simply a better game. I couldn't wear all my gear because of the paint, and the gun had to be cleaned every time. (I only used semi-auto for fairness too)

The other players were good, called their hits, and things were pretty fair. Airsoft in general had the advantage, because it could shoot through smaller openings, and is a lot more accurate. Airsoft also fires forever, whereas people are always breaking balls and running out of gas with paintball guns. Airsoft was quiet and stealthy, and paintball is loud and gives away your position.

I loved spending a lot less money using airsoft than paintball....gives me more money for guns.

Yeah for some reason ballers seem to have this weird body armour. It's like they're always jumping around and rubbing an itch or something when you're shooting in their direction however they don't seem to get hit ever.

Note, they're not all like that but it's a generalization. It's probably not going to work unless you play against milsim ballers. Also I don't really appreciate getting paint all over my gear either so they'll either have to use those .68 cal foam paintball things or not do it at all (like this) However if you're going to do that why not play with airsoft instead?
