Good setting for an AK gearbox
Hmm so, what would be good for an Cm028s?
I know that they use V3 gearbox, so i were wondering, what setting would be good for a total remake of gearbox. Would putting in all systema part would be good? Also, if it would be to be near 360-400fps, with 20bb+/sec, but still not too fast, too fast rof is unrealistic. What would be good? I know that it would need 9.6v batterie, and a reinforced gearbox, and for the motor, is the systema one good? And now for a barel, again, is the systema tightbore good? Edit: Also, if it were to be 400fps, what would be the fps with .23 or .25g bb's? |

A realistic ROF would be 10 bbs a second, not 20+
A re-enforced gearbox is a waste of money on a V3 doing 400fps or less. Systema parts are generally great.

And hmm, if i dont need re-enforced gearbox, would the cyma one be able to handle 360-380 fps at long term? If so, wich spring would have this fps rate? |

Sound like a good price for what you got :P Hmm also, if id get something similar to what you got there, would the cyma gearbox handle this without breaking?

you should be fine. V3 gearboxes are built better than for example a V2. they have a little more reinforcing in some areas to distribute the impact of the piston.

If you're new to airsoft I would suggest starting out with a lower FPS. It takes a bit of time to learn proper trigger control.. and you don't want to be labeled as "that damn new guy who over-shoots with an almost hot gun"
For new players 350 FPS is ideal, You wont be out-gunned that much, but it'll teach you how to move and earn your kills. I've spent a good couple hours in some games with nothing but a rubber knife trying to improve my stealth and stalking skills. |

Hmm well, since i'm underage, ive never used pro gun like you guy, but ive used some JG, G&G, that my friend have and my cyma and tsd sniper.
I dont want to have an overpowered thing, but just to have better gearbox, as cyma stock one aren't what we can call quality! xD It would be good to have setting like 360-380 with .20g, 400 is sorta too much, but would allow me to have good 350 fps with .25 or +. |
