I need a new vest...

I need a vest that would look nice with US woodland BDU or atleast something along the lines of that camo pattern.

Any suggestions, and I know I sound stupid and noob when I say this but I need something that looks awesome.

How much are you willing to spend on a vest?

Probably 5-10 mags tops, a radio and I guess just the essentials. Dont need a fancy Hydration pack.

I was looking at something like this but in OD

http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=22648

And probably tops spend about $200

2 points.

1. Hydration pack is god. Believe me, they make the difference between a sluggish, dehydrated day and a fun, active day. They are worth every penny, and honestly, aren't really that expensive. I put ice in mine during the summer, and it acts like a portable AC.

2. Consider holding off buying the vest for now. Instead, find as many occasions as you can to try as many different types of vest as you can. In my experience, a good vest is first and foremost about comfort, with carrying capacity coming in second.

Huang has what you're looking for. He has a CIRAS and MBSS available in OD. Check his thread in the retailers section. I've bought both the CB and OD CIRAS vests from him and they're good quality for replicas.

Saint makes a very good point about getting a hydration pack, especially if you're running a full vest like a CIRAS. You may find in the end that you're more comfortable with just a basic chest rig. You'll notice from pics here and around the net that folks end up going with what works best for them. Full vests are cool and all, but take weight into consideration as well. My CIRAS fully loaded with gear and 3L of water weighs in at around 20lbs. Add your AEG, sidearm, and everything else and that's a lot of gear to be lugging around in the heat.
