Why Use Deans
Why do people use a deans connector instead of the tamia connectors?

Provides more connection area (Among other things) + It's nice if you can have a single standardized connector. I can't count how many times I've seen some one sit out waiting for a battery to charge because they need a large, but there's only an extra small connector available.

The LiPo batteries can discharge 15-30+ C (15-30 times the mah so like 20-40+amps). It's mainly used for R\C helis and airplanes. I have a belt cp helicopter and I pull about 15 amps doing maneuvers. The tamiya connectors can't support the crazy flow (gets very hot) Deans ultra have very little resistance. This means it doesn't get hot when you continuously fire supressive cover. Also means max current flow to motor to ensure highest possible ROF

If find they give a more positve connect/disconnect and take up less space in the body. The other benefits help also but the daily use convenience does it for me.

Anyone tried the Traxxis connectors? Care to compare to Deans?
