What to expect at a game
I was just wondering what to expect in terms of attendance with air soft games in the Barrie/ Wasaga beach area of central Ontario. Once I get AV'd and manage to get the funds for my first AEG (only 5 months away!!) I want to now if I will be able to find events locally or will have to take fairly long trips to attend events elsewhere any help or links are appreciated.

At Border War I in 2007, we had 185. At Border War II in October 2008 we had 216 players. Border War III in July of 2009 I would guess close to 300 maybe because of the facility we hosting at.

Games are hosted at the Wasaga Beach Paintball often, but not until spring time.

Any chance I could come watch a few games some day. (I play paintball there anyways, I know but until I’m 18 it’s all I have). Hell I could even get someone to shoot me so I know what it feels like to get shot by a decent AEG.

The addiction of Airsoft already eh?
Anyway that would have to be up to the hosts that will be hosting the airsoft games. Depending on the host they can be strict or lenient. Strict as in no underagers can step foot in the game Lenient can come and watch perhaps shoot a gun or get shot for fun In the GTA some hosts will allow a under-age to be the picture taker, usually they tend to be 16 and up, though they cannot play they can put on glow sticks and run around with a camera and take pics Some hosts may allow 16+ but thats on a very very very tight rope, and there those on the forum that do not like that. |

So basically I have to wait and se who’s hosting the game on that given occasion and ask if I can tag along?

Yea just keep representing your self well and seeming like a decent person and you might have a chance to play, You won't get AV'd but you might play. It's all host dependent.
