Solution for G&P VLI tactical light switch problems.
Hello, this is a solution for the ones who have an ON/OFF swtiching problem on this Flashlight:
it is a rather expensive one (considering the fact that it's cheap crap) so its owner are probably wondering how to maintain or fix this light, since it's sturdy and practical with its embedded rail. The answer is very simple: you can't. the only thing you can do is change the bulb. however, if you end up with a non working switch, it's normal: the switch inside is a crude piece of metal made with their feet by down-syndrome squirrels. You cannot remove the back (the switch end) of the VLI because it's glued to the body.the screws are fake here is how I fixed mine: pierced holes with an electric drill tore the switch end off and insulted it. (off course it gets destroyed in the process.) inside there is a connexion plate with the risible switch, a pair of blue electric cables and a black rubber thing that holds the - pole spring in position. ( in my case the cable disconnected from the spring.) after I removed everything: re-soldered everything that was broken on another switch ( I used the contact switch that came with it ) I found an old plastic cap to fill the hole. after some hammering and some paint+tape
